Playsilk Care Instructions

An exercise in cleanliness and order

Caring for our toys can be fun and easy. I like to encourage children to hand wash their Playsilks with warm water. Baby shampoo or dish soap is gentle on the silk. Hang them to dry and use a medium/high setting on your iron to bring out your Playsilk's natural shine.

Children love the feeling of wet silk; it becomes a wonderful sensory experience. Doing chores around the house is meaningful work that helps children build creative thinking skills, engage with learning, increase self-confidence, and contribute to their world.
