I love that my kids silks are used for so many different things from snuggle blankets to baby doll blankets.

It took my son awhile to get into playing with the silks set that I purchased from Sarah’s Silks, but now they become essential backdrops for the scenes he creates – water & oceans, farmland, cliffs, or mountains. They also transform him into a magnificent bird :) They are wonderful!

We have two girls, 2 & 4, who got silks for their birthday. They use them as flags for when they dance, as superhero capes, nests for their dolls, tutus, and that’s just the beginning. Sarah’s silks have been a wonderful addition to our play life!

My girl has a couple silks now and in the last few days they have served as a waterscape, a dress and a cozy nest for her wee one. I love to see what her creativity comes up with!

Our baby’s rainbow mini-silk is her favorite toy. She loves watching the colors float over her and feeling the softness when I brush it on her, and she gets her biggest smiles. She is 4 months old and the silk is also her favorite thing to practice grabbing. I know she will continue to love it and I can’t wait to get more!

Sarah my children of ages 11, 8, and 3 play with your silks every single day. Yesterday they made a flag with a pole and the yellow one an it’s hanging above our sofa. WE were studying the direct democracy in Athens/ greece and they were sure the Romans had a yellow flat :D

There is nothing that compares to Sarah’s playsilks. My daughters used them for years in their imaginative and creative play. Alas, my daughters are now grown up. I plan to someday put the silks in the crate of treasured toys, which are being saved for future grand kids. But, for now I have taken the silks to school with me. I am a school librarian for children aged 3-11. I use the silks often to help bring the literature part of my curriculum to life. One of my favorite lessons to date was using the silks with the book Color Dance by Ann Jonas. The transparency of the silks and a light helped illustrate how primary colors mix to make new colors. Then we danced around with the silks just as the characters do in the book. It was a favorite lesson for my Kindergarteners. Sarah’s Silks have become a wonderful teaching tool that inspires creativity and imagination for my students. Thank you for such a wonderful, creative and enduring product.

My one year old daughter was introduced to play silks in our music class. She goes wild when the silk bin comes out and loves waving the silks to the butterfly song!

I love that they can be anything. One day it’s a love, the next a baby blanket for a doll, the next a sling to carry the doll, then a cape for a superhero, a picnic blanket for a tea party, a sarong, a magical pillow cover, a parachute for a pony, a hiding spot for guess what I’m hiding, an eye cover for hide and go seek (no peeking!) – and that was just last week.

We love Sarah’s playsilks! We have a small variety, but would like to add more! They are great for all kinds of imagination play, my daughter uses them for dress up, baby blankets and more…!

We don’t own any play silks yet but I am hoping we can purchase some soon- my kids love to play dress up and the boys are asking for superhero capes, while our daughter enjoys hats and skirts. They are also all fans of kites; we might try the ribbon wands too!

Our beautiful playsilks are as versatile as our children’s minds are creative! They can be dresses, capes, veils; doors, ceilings, curtains; baby slings, knapsacks, picnic blankets; tents or balloons; bathtime mermaids’ tails; or a soft, silky comfort at bedtime (esp on warm summer nights). Thank you Sarah and team for sharing your wonderful creations with the world.
