  • We don’t have any play silks right now, and most of the suggestions listed already are so great! My toddler loves to play in boxes, so draping one over the opening so he can have his own little hide out would be fun! My 9 year old would likely run around the yard with some floating in the wind. Even though he’s getting to an age where imagination is waning, I still see bits of magic and creativity in his eyes when I encourage him to let go.

  • I use these silk scarves endlessly in my yoga and sensory play toddler classes. A favorite was swimming in the scarves and then pretending to wash our bodies with them and then playing car wash with them tied to a rope and the toddlers running through the scarves hanging below – choosing the colour to run through and exploring the texture. The school ready group practiced their pen grip by pegging the scarves onto a washing line too.

  • Tie the silk to the swing to make light beautiful flowy effect. To be used with balanced board, to make a drape over it for animals’s cave. To make beach (sea & sand), then my daughter will love to splash the silk as the sea water.
